The James Bond Theme yang di arrange oleh John Barry berasal dari sebuah lagu karya Monty Norman untuk sebuah teater musikal yang diadaptasi dari novel karya VS Naipaul A House For Mr. Biswas. Lagu itu berjudul good sign, bad sign, liriknya ditulis oleh Julian More:
